When bringing prescription medications:

Bring enough to last until you can return home to refill or transfer your prescription
information to a local pharmacy.

Call the member services phone number on the back of the card if you need a duplicate.
Understand your plan’s rules for referrals and out-of-network care for specialist
referrals and diagnostic tests.

Know if you need a referral for different types of specialized care (i.e. X-rays,
specialist visits).
