Hello Student Leaders & Advisors!
I wanted to share some reminders about RSO Calendar Planning and provide the dates of Finance Training for all Presidents and Treasurers. Please see all details below.
- RSO Calendar Planning Sessions: These sessions are required for all Level 2 and Level 3 organizations. Please see all details below:
- RSO Calendar Planning Session 1: Wednesday, October 16 | 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – University Center Webb Room; During this session, RSO Leaders will have a chance to talk with others to brainstorm unique event ideas, find opportunities to collaborate, and focus on planning for spring 2025. Only one member of your organization is required to attend, preferably President or the individual who oversees events.
- RSO Calendar Planning Session 2: Monday, November 25 | 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Lathem Hall; During this session, RSO Leaders must come prepared with a full calendar of events. We will go through the calendar week by week to ensure each organization has an opportunity to have their events added. In addition, organization leaders will need to submit 25Live and Involve requests that evening to secure their room reservation. It is required that both the President and individual who oversees events attend this session.
- Budget Allocations and Finance Training: Finance Training will take place the week of November 4. As a reminder, both Presidents and Treasurers (or VPs with financial responsibilities) are required to attend for all Level 2 and Level 3 organizations. If you are currently a Level 1 organization but are interested in receiving funding next semester, you will need to meet this requirement as well. Please see all dates below.
- Tuesday, November 5 – 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., University Center Webb Room
- Wednesday, November 6 – 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., ZOOM – Pre-register here!
- Thursday, November 7 – 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., University Center Webb Room
