RSO Leader Trainings

To support the growth and success of all recognized student organizations (RSOs), leaders are expected to participate in a series of leadership development workshops throughout the academic year. These sessions are designed to equip officers with essential tools, resources, and knowledge to help their organizations thrive.

Workshop Attendance Requirements:

Participation varies based on your organization’s level:

• Level 1 Organizations:
  Must send one (1) representative to attend at least one (1) additional training beyond COR Training.

• Level 2 & Level 3 Organizations:
  Must send two (2) representatives to attend at least four (4) additional trainings beyond COR Training.

Pre-Registration Required:

All participants must pre-register for workshops in advance. Use the registration link provided each flyer or announcement to secure your spot. Some sessions may have limited capacity, so register early!

• COR Training
  Required for all SGA Representatives and Alternative Representatives.
  Calling all SGA Representatives! Join us for COR Training to learn everything you need to know about your role on the Council of Representatives. Led by the Student Government Association, this required session will walk you through responsibilities, expectations, and how you can make a real impact this year. Come ready to lead, represent, and get connected!​

• How to Maximize Your Budget
  Strongly recommended for presidents, treasurers, and officers with financial responsibilities.
  Are you a treasurer or RSO leader with financial responsibilities within a level 2 or 3 organization? This workshop is for you! Come learn how to utilize all the money your organization is allocated this academic year. We will be giving tips and tricks for how to make your budget stretch and make the most of your funding!
