AntiVirus & Malware

We install Antivirus and anti-malware software on all Widener-owned computers.  Even though we also catch a lot of malware in transit (through email), it’s still important to have protection at the endpoint (your computer); brand new threats are coming out every few minutes, and some of these make it onto the market the same day as they’re written (called “zero-day exploits”).  When that happens, the patterns we look for aren’t available yet, so it helps to have software running that senses when something on your computer is weird.

What about my personal equipment?
