Office of University Center Administration

Welcome! Thank you for visiting the official homepage of the Office of University Center Administration! Here you will find a myriad of tools and information to assist with guiding you through the reservation and event planning process here at Widener! Our office focuses on some of our campus’ core programming spaces: Alumni Hall, Lathem Hall, the University Center, and major outdoor spaces.

Our mission is to make the reservation and event planning process an easy, seamless experience for anyone! As a team, we strive to provide a people-centered approach to reservations, space usage, and design and execution of programs, both large and small, in any of our spaces on campus.

Our role in the University Center is to build community amongst students, faculty, staff, alumni, and campus guests  while celebrating and embracing the diversity of our campus constituents. By engaging with our office, the campus community will:

  • Develop and demonstrate competencies in program design, development and implementation
  • Gain an understanding of the space reservation system, 25Live Pro, and feel comfortable and confident reserving spaces on campus that meet their needs for meetings, events, traditions, and more
  • Utilize gathering spaces, both formal and informal, that encourage interactions with the campus community that are meaningful, vibrant, and impactful
  • Collaborate across functional areas and demographics to engage in meaningful programming, leadership development, and community building that fosters pride for our campus and institutional connections for years to come
  • Increase satisfaction with the reservation process and overall experience with event planning within our spaces
