Event Planning Resources
LET’S GET STARTED WITH YOUR PLANNING PROCESS
Every meeting and event on campus is unique — and we’re here to help you plan with confidence. Whether you’re coordinating a student organization meeting, hosting a departmental event, or organizing a large university celebration, this section provides a variety of tools and resources to guide you every step of the way. Check out the resources below to get started.
Planning an event can feel overwhelming. We've compiled an Event Planning Checklist to help guide you through the basics! Don't forget, we are always happy to connect with you about planning your event to make sure that you are set for success.
We recognize that each event has its own specific needs. This section will provide you with access to diagrams for some of our most customizable space on campus. Please keep in mind that you will need to work with University Center Administration OR Facilities to determine if the furniture needs are in stock.
Please note, that these diagrams are a reflection of the spaces that allow for the most customization. For many spaces in the University Center and across campus you will be able to choose your desired layout from the options provided. Please refer to 25Live Pro training documents for how to select those layouts or utilize the locations function in 25Live Pro to learn more about each specific space.
Wondering what some of the most frequently requested and used spaces on campus are? We've compiled a list of some of the largest programming spaces on campus – including popular outdoor locations – so you can quickly review what they are, how to search them on Coursedog, and which team approves them.
The University Center offers multiple displays throughout the building to showcase upcoming events, campus announcements, and more!
