As the semester is about to start, Cottee is still under contraction. Current estimate is September 12. Most offices have paint and door frames. Looks like color theme is blue greys. There is definitely a lighter and a darker shade.
They are working on the ceiling. The support grid is installed in many places. Into that grid are the lights, the ventilation, and the fire alarm. Those are in various stages throughout the building. They are also starting the grey carpet installation. The day we visited they were working on the 2nd floor.
While the offices and conference rooms are moving forward, the admin receiving area is not quite at the same point. Looks like they still need the ceiling grid.
Bathrooms have toilets and sinks are in process. I apologize for the picture quality but there were no lights in there yet. Maybe better pictures next time.
So for the time being, faculty are working from home or finding places on campus to work between classes and meetings. Jeanne is the queen of scheduling space in the ACN admin suite.
Hoping to be back in another 2 weeks. Fingers crossed that things progress quickly.
