Office of Teacher Education and Certification (OTEC)

Dear Students,

The office of Teacher Education and Certification is committed to your success. Our office, within Widener University’s Center for Education, ensures a seamless organization of all necessary clearances and releases for you to attend your assigned field experience placements and eventually complete student teaching or intern teaching. These clearances also help protect the safety of our PK-12 educational partners. Furthermore, we are dedicated to helping you become eligible for your state-approved licensure upon graduation/program completion.

This website provides you with the necessary information and resources for the duration of your program, and beyond.

We value all students enrolled in our Education programs and encourage you to reach out with any questions.

Regards,

Dr. Zora M. Wolfe
Associate Dean, College of Health & Human Services
