Licensure Tests

The determination to take and successfully pass the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators (Core) tests is required by the end of undergraduate students’ first year as an education major (elementary and secondary programs). Students should consult with the Office of Teacher Education and Certification to confirm individual need for Core testing.

*Students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree should refer to the PDE Certification Testing Requirements link found at the bottom of this page for specific graduate-level testing information.
