Diploma Information

Petition to Graduate

All students are encouraged to petition to graduate at least one semester prior to their anticipated completion. In order to receive commencement related emails, students must petition by the deadlines indicated below. Your academic dean’s office will approve your graduation based on a list of petitioners each term and conferred by the registrar’s office. The deadlines to petition are as follows:

Diploma Mailing

Once you graduate, diplomas are mailed 4-6 weeks following the official university degree conferral date. Diplomas are mailed to the address you provided on the petition to graduate form in self-service. If you need to edit the mailing address on your petition please email registrarmc@widener.edu.

Widener University Replacement Diploma Order

Diploma replacements are available for purchase to any student who graduated from a Chester Campus program only. Replacements can only be mailed within the domestic United States. We do not offer international shipping options at this time. You can place your order using debit or credit card or using paypal. Your card will only be charged once your order has been completed. The cost for a replacement diploma is $50 which includes the cost of shipping. Select the link below to begin your order:

Replacement Diploma Order

Replacement orders are processed on or around the first of each month. Once processed, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of your order. An expediated option is available at an additional cost of $25. Expedited orders are processed within 5 business days. Diploma pickup is not available.

Orders are processed using the actual conferral date on your original diploma. Only current diploma formats are available which includes current university official’s signatures and current school/college names. This information may differ from your original diploma.

Please note that you cannot receive a replacement diploma if you have an outstanding balance due to the university.
