Forget a Wireless Network
Forgetting a wireless network on your device can be a helpful step in troubleshooting wireless internet issues, especially if you have recently changed the password for your Widener account.
Skip to your device:
Computers
Windows 11
To forget a wireless network in Windows 11:

- Click the Network icon in the bottom right system tray

- Right-click the network name you want to forget

- Click Forget
Windows 10
To forget a wireless network in Windows 10:

- In the bottom right corner in the system tray, click the network icon

- Click Network & Internet settings
-
- Click Manage Wi-Fi settings
-
- Under “Manage known networks”, select the wireless network to forget

- Click Forget
macOS
To forget a wireless network on a Mac computer:

- In the top right corner of your screen, click the Wi-Fi symbol

- Click Wi-Fi Settings

- Next to the network that you want to forget, click the more options icon (circle with 3 dots)

- Click Forget This Network
Mobile Devices
iOS (iPhone)
To forget a wireless network on an Apple iPhone:

- Open the Settings app and click Wi-Fi

- Locate the network you need to forget and click the information icon (circle with an i)

- Click Forget this Network – it should be the first option

- If you see “Join” instead of “Forget”, click to join and then repeat steps 2 and 3
Android
To forget a wireless network on an Android phone:

- From the home screen, choose Settings

- In the settings menu choose Wi-Fi

- Tap and hold the network name you want to forget

- Select Forget
