Meeting Tips

Here are some tips and best practices for participating in a Zoom meeting:

  • Check your audio and video ahead of your meeting – see the audio and video page for more information
  • If you are in a space with others, communicate that you have a meeting and use headphones or a headset if possible to avoid extraneous background noise
  • Remain muted while you are not speaking so any background noises are not distracting for the speaker
