Account Creation
For those who will who have a CDW-G account, one will be created for you. You will receive an email from CDW-G with a link to activate your account.
Once you have received your external email from CDW-G with a unique link to create your personalized account, please keep in mind that the link will expire in 8 days. Be sure to act quickly to complete your account setup within this timeframe to avoid expiration.
If you miss the 8 day window, contact [email protected] to have your account re-triggered for a new external email invite from CDW-G.
- Open the Invitation Email – the subject line will read: [EXTERNAL] Hi (your name), Welcome to CDWG!
- Click the red Create Account button. Your username is your full Widener email address.
- Create and confirm a password for your account.
- Log in to CDW-G using your Widener email address and newly created password.
Purchasing
Access Widener University’s CDW-G Premium Storefront.
- Click Sign In to access your account. Use your Widener email address and the password you created during account setup.
- Find Items by choosing from a category or searching on the left-hand side. After finding your desired item, click Add to Cart or Continue Shopping if additional items are needed.
- Click Cart to view or manage the items in your cart and begin the checkout process.
- Checkout
- Delivery Method – Click Edit and use the dropdown to select your campus. Update the “Recipient Contact Information” with your full name and email address.
- Billing Information – You must enter a PO number and Cost Center number
- PO Number – Use your first initial, last name, and date of purchase for your PO entry (e.g. S.John/02.01.2025)
- Cost Center Number – Enter your department’s 10-digit budget entry number (e.g. 1-2345-67890)
- Review and confirm all information
- Click Place Order
- You will receive an external email from CDW-G that the order approval is pending.
- The order will be sent to your designated department approver who has 90 days to approve, change, or deny the order. If not approved within 90 days, the order is canceled. You will be notified of any change in status of your order.
