Classroom & Event Technology
Widener’s Client eXperience (CX) team supports the technology in all learning spaces across campus and the technology used for learning and event spaces.
If you are in need of technology support in a classroom or for an event, please fill out a QuickTicket with information about your event and needs. This phone number is different from our traditional help desk phone number, dedicated to classroom and event technology support.
Classroom Technology
Widener’s classrooms are equipped with technology to support a seamless experience for both faculty and students.
Most classrooms will have:
- a desktop PC
- display monitor
- HDMI connection for a laptop
Some classrooms have additional technology such as a document camera and Zoom camera. If you have any questions about the technology in your classroom, please fill out a QuickTicket or call the dedicated classroom support phone number, 610-499-4090.
Classroom Technology Tips
- If you are unfamiliar with the technology in your classroom, request training via a QuickTicket.
- If something is not working as expected, first check the touchscreen panel to ensure it is turned on, and the display settings are set the way you need. If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to CX using the dedicated classroom support phone number, 610-499-4090.
- If you used the desktop PC in a classroom, log out of the computer prior to leaving the classroom using the red LOG OFF icon on the computer’s desktop.
Event Technology
The CX team is available to support technology for on campus or Zoom events. This includes:
- Zoom Kits – 4K camera with tripod, and enhanced microphone
- Sound system with microphone
To request technology or technology support for your event, please submit a QuickTicket with advanced notice so that the CX team can plan and staff accordingly.

Reserving Event Space
If you are looking for a space on campus to hold your event, 25Live Pro is our platform utilized to request and schedule both academic and non-academic spaces for classes, events, meetings, and other campus business. All requests will be reviewed and approved by either the Office of University Center Administration or the Registrar’s Office based on your desired location.
