What Do They Do?
TLT promotes student success at Widener through supporting and strengthening the teaching and learning experience. Bringing over 35 years of combined experience as educators, they focus on applying best pedagogical practices, student engagement strategies, up-to-date educational technologies, and classroom management techniques to physical and virtual learning environments. The support services they provide include:
- 1 on 1 consultation: course design, synchronous and asynchronous teaching strategies, integration of EdTech tools in teaching, AI integration, and personalized and accessible learning strategies.
- Professional development opportunities that meet the needs of faculty across multiple modalities (webinars, workshops, and fellowship cohorts).
- Promotion, training, and troubleshooting of Widener supported EdTech tools (Canvas Ecosystem, Poll Everywhere, Hypothesis, LinkedIn Learning, etc.) and research of emerging technologies.
- Customized departmental training, as requested
- Full instructional design services for specific online graduate programs (MSW, Criminal Justice, MBA, and Organizational Development & Leadership)
